This 2 day comprehensive hands-on course guides you through various treatment ideas to manage brain disorders with emphasis on stroke. The evidence based practice will be highlighted & includes the instructor’s own experience which will emphasize the impact of proper positioning, breathing exercises, modalities and orthoses on patient’s recovery after stroke. Therapists complete the course with knowledge to teach patients fitness programs to use away from clinical setting.

Neurology. This two-day comprehensive hands-on course will guide the participants through various treatment ideas for management of brain disorders with emphasis on stroke. The evidence based practice will be highlighted and includes the instructor’s own experience which will emphasize the impact of proper positioning, breathing exercises, modalities and orthoses on patient’s recovery after the stroke. Therapists will complete the course with the knowledge to teach the patient the fitness program to be used at home or otherwise away from the clinical setting. This is a completely well-rounded course to send the therapist into the field with the skill set to successfully treat and lead to patient recovery.
